Rebecca Phythian

Artistic Director

Rebecca is a Manchester born and based Actor-Singer and graduate of The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) where she was awarded the Andrew Lloyd Webber Scholarship. She founded Blue Balloon Theatre and continues to produce, direct and perform for the company. Rebecca is passionate about pizza and her baseball hat.

Louise Croft

Associate Director

Louise is an aspiring poet and writer, who studied English with Creative Writing at the University of Nottingham. Her poetry usually features mentions of her urban surroundings in Manchester and her experience of disappointing relationships. Louise tries to fill her poetry with honesty and hope and a comic spin. She loves all things, pink, sparkly and unicorn related and would like to encourage more people to wear glitter on a daily basis.

Jas Nisic

Associate Director

Jas is proud working-class Mancunian Actor-Singer trained in Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music; graduating in 2019 with a Distinction. Prior to this she completed both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mathematics from The University of Manchester obtaining a First Class with Honours and Distinction and worked as a Software Engineer and Web Developer (website made by yours truly). She loves cats, singing and has a passion for cake.

Ryan Morrison

Technical Director

Ryan is a photographer, audio technition and owner of Ginscrabble Media with a degree in Music Production. Having a passion for arts in many forms, Ryan is always looking to capture a performance or create something himself. Outside of the arts Ryan is an avid climber, lover of cats and extremely competitive at scrabble.
